Lenka – Knock Knock
Despite “The Show” having that weird feel to it, I thought to myself “Oh great! Another Lily Allen!”. After listening to Lenka’s album, I have to say, I’m impressed. It feels like how it was when Mika dropped the album. Not everyone likes it, but it’s breathe of fresh air. The lyrics are pretty “directly riddly”. You gotta love the vocals too. I found out about Lenka from a friend, and I’m glad I noticed. This song, to me, relates a lot; to most of how I feel.. occasionally.. ..keep “knocking”..

Kara Digourdi; Jason Reeves. I found Jason Reeves through some of Colbie Caillat’s collaboration, and Kara; obviously from American Idol.
This song keeps looping in my head since the day I saw the video. I mean, I’m feeling good.. I’m feeling in love.. and the moment it happens, I feel it’s time to find love.
I’ve attended three weddings since the start of the year. In fact, I just came back from a wedding. You know how love songs keeps looping again and again throughout the wedding dinner? Well, usually it’ll annoy the heck out of me.. especially when I’m single and broken up.
This time, it’s different. I somehow feel.. happy.. maybe because I’m thinking of one person.. this girl that made me happy a lot of times.. she just kept saying she’s not ready..

Crushed
It’s funny how we as people just falls in love with someone we barely know
to find that when we get to know that person, we’d be heart broken.
The feeling of forsaken fills the void of curiosity and interest.
A sign of fresh air is suddenly filled with cloud of dust, leaving us confused.
Seemingly the blow of knowing more, hurting the heart of the despair.
Sharing our stories to others and having that virus be contracted to another.
That’s how songs are formed with the little intention to make others sad,
but really is to express the feeling we feel deep inside us. Knowing,
that there certainly are others who feel the same way in the exact same time.
Instantly we know that there are always hope in our hearts for a better love.
A better future from knowing just the simple idea, that we are free..
Free to choose and free to move.. away from anyone who cause us harm.
Be liberated from the differences of obsession, anger, sadness and hurt.
To find that we really weren’t in love with that previous person we didn’t know.
But all it was is just a short connection of interest between our fantasy and reality.
