I’ve always loved this song. No matter what stage my life is in, I can always relate to a good simple lyrics like this.
I feel I’m closer.. to where I wanna be.. and so is she..

Madonna – Like a Prayer

I was just looking at a TED video by Alison Jackson; “A surprising look at celebrities”. The interest to view this video was sparked as I find my cousin who visited us (my family) from Austria, seemed to have such desires to keep updated to celebrity news.. as do I.. Please do realize that the TED’s presentation video may include explicit pictures.

So from that video, there was a scene were this particular song was played in the background. I found the lyrics to be rather interesting. I mean, I never really noticed how the lyrics could relate to me this way. So I decided to express myself here with the video seemingly a little related to people I know and how the situations are. Please, do have a look at the video. Express how it could relate to you. I will explain my experiences below. I never knew how such an old video could have so much content in action, as well as the lyrics.

I’ve met a good friend of mine who pretty much would like to be a Christian. She sighs a lot and today is the first time I heard her voice (by phone). See how the lyrics are?

“When you call my name, it’s like a little prayer (or feels like home)” – I never really noticed this part of the lyrics until now.
The simple importance of calling a person by his/her name. How much it could differ.
Imagine God calling you, it really does feel like flying or falling.
The state of mind where you are motionless.
The state of Meditation.

“In the Midnight hour, I can feel your power.” – I think Midnight is mostly the time we feel empowered, as we are recharging.
For most Werewolves (if any exist), this is the time they experience their Metamorphosis.
Isn’t that how we feel sometimes? Midnight, we feel different.. something..

As for this music video… haha.. (it’s a long story)
