This track simply fits the ideal love that I want to have, and from the looks of the first month since I met her; I’m ideally in love.

Stay

I will come to visit you, even when we're old and grey

Stay

We simply fit together like a piece of apple pie

We simply fit together
like a piece of apple pie

I will be vanilla ice cream
And I’ll sing you lullabies
I will love you in the moonlight and I’ll love you in the day
Always

I love the time we spend
Like a watch from an old friend
I will help you keep your smile
Promise me you’ll stay awhile
I will come when you need it
And I’ll help you when I can
When I can

We always joke together
Laugh till we’re rolling on the floor
I like the way you dance around
when you’re running for the door

I will come to visit you
Even when we’re old and grey
Always

I love the way you make me feel
When you’re asleep I’ll take the wheel
Make sure to call when you get home
When you’re driving on the road
I will come to you in need and I’ll help you when I can
Oh when I can

Stay with me
Promise me you’re never gonna leave
Stay with me yeah
Lets try to be the best that we can be
Take our time

We simply fit together like a piece of apple pie
I will be vanilla ice cream
And I’ll sing you lullabies
I will love you in the moonlight and i’ll love you in the day
Always

I love the time we spend
Like a watch from an old friend
I will help you keep your smile
Promise me you’ll stay awhile
I will come when you need it
And I’ll help you when I can
When I can

Stay with me
Promise me you’re never gonna leave
Stay with me yeah
Lets try to be the best that we can be
Take our time

We always joke together
Laugh till we’re rolling on the floor
I like the way you dance around when you’re running for the door
I will come to visit you
Even when we’re old and grey

Always
I love the way you make me feel
When you’re asleep I’ll take the wheel
Make sure to call when you get home
When you’re driving on the road
I will come to you in need and I’ll help you when I can
Oh when I can

So
Stay with me
Promise me you’re never gonna leave
Stay with me
Lets try to be the best the we can be
Take our time

I’ll come to you in need and i’ll help you when I can
I will help you yeah
I will come to you in need and ill help you when i can
I will help you when I can

Oh oh yeah
So stay with me
Promise you youre never gonna leave
Stay with me yeah
Lets try to be the best that we can be
And take our time
Oooh

Cat Stevens / Yusuf Islam / Boyzone / Ronan Keating – Father & Son

I think many people could remember the MTV of Ronan Keating ft. Yusuf Islam from my age group. For others, maybe you knew Cat Stevens version; regardless, this song is simply a masterpiece. Can you feel the care from these performers? Watch Cat Steven deliver the song and you’ll see the lyrics coming to life in your own heart.

Btw, some people might not know this; but Cat Stevens IS Yusuf Islam. (Reference: YouTube – Cat Stevens’ transition to Yusuf Islam)

Yusuf Islam (born Steven Demetre Georgiou; 21 July 1948), commonly known by his former stage name Cat Stevens, is a British musician. He is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, educator, philanthropist, and prominent convert to Islam.

It’s not time to make a change
Just relax–take it easy
You’re still young–that’s your fault
There’s so much you have to know

Find a girl, settle down
If you want, you can marry
Look at me–I am old
But I’m happy

I was once like you are now
And I know that it’s not easy
To become when you’ve found
Something going on

But take your time–think a lot
Think of everthing you’ve got
For you will still be here tomorrow
But your dreams may not…

It’s not time to make a change
Just relax–take it easy
You’re still young–that’s your fault
There’s so much you have to know

Find a girl, settle down
If you want, you can marry
Look at me–I am old
But I’m happy

I was once like you are now
And I know that it’s not easy
To become when you’ve found
Something going on

But take your time–think a lot
Think of everthing you’ve got
For you will still be here tomorrow
But your dreams may not…

How can I try to explain?
When I do–it turns away again
And it’s always been the same
Same old story

From the moment I could talk
I was ordered to listen
Now there’s a way, and I know
That I have to go away
I know, I have to go…

It’s not time to make a change
Just sit down
and take it slowly
You’re still young–that’s your fault
There’s so much you have to go through

Find a girl, settle down
If you want, you can marry
Look at me–I am old
But I’m happy

All the times, that I’ve cried
Keeping all the things I knew inside
And it’s hard
But it’s harder to ignore it

If they were right–I’d agree
But it’s them–they know
Not me That I have to go away

Green Day / The Cast Of American Idiot – 21 Guns

21 guns is also a salute for honor or death of a soldier.

“As naval customs evolved, 21 volleys came to be fired for heads of state, with the number decreasing with the rank of the recipient of the honor. Multiples of 21-gun salutes may be fired for particularly important celebrations.”

The video takes place with the band and the album’s two protagonists Christian (Josh Boswell) and Gloria (Lisa Stelly) taking refuge in a white room after robbing a bank. The police arrive outside the room and open fire through the window. As bullets rain through the room, the band continues playing. Gloria picks up the phone and throws it into a fish tank. As the bullets continue to fly and tear apart the room, Christian and Gloria walk toward each other, unharmed by the bullets. They embrace and kiss, recreating the 21st Century Breakdown cover art. The video may represent the meaning of the song in the 21st Century Breakdown story.

The album follows a couple (Gloria & Christian) who are trying to make their way in the world while they’re being overcome by contraband, decit, confusion, violence, and drug abuse. When Christian finds out that Gloria wasn’t and wonderful and he thought she was, he became very angry and destructive because now everything he knew was a lie. Meanwhile, she was mad at him because she was the only one carrying wieght in the relationship.
ANYWAY, 21 Guns is when they realize that enough is enough because they really do love eachother “did you try to live on your own” “did you stand to close to the fire”. they’ve been hurt and wasted, they just want to take down the wall and let eachother in.

Many people does not really “listen” to this song’s ingenius lyrics. It’s a song about war, and how it’s not exactly a solution for everything. How it feels like to have regrets and the hurting.. It could also be as simple as a relationship problem, how we may need to know if what we are doing is worth it? Is it worth going through this, or argue about the little things that makes no sense? No point arguing about things that doesn’t matter later in our lives. Cast your love to good use; live and let live.

One line that hits home the most is the consequence of regret – “Like a liar looking for forgiveness from a stone”.

I know how my significant other really like this song, so I thought I’d share some details on it as I see and from what I come to love about it.

Do you know what’s worth fighting for
When it’s not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away
And you feel yourself suffocating?
Does the pain weigh out the pride?
And you look for a place to hide?
Did someone break your heart inside?
You’re in ruins

When you’re at the end of the road
And you lost all sense of control
And your thoughts have taken their toll
When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul
Your faith walks on broken glass
And the hangover doesn’t pass
Nothing’s ever built to last
You’re in ruins

Did you try to live on your own
When you burned down the house and home?
Did you stand too close to the fire?
Like a liar looking for forgiveness from a stone

One, 21 guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, 21 guns
Throw up your arms into the sky
You and I

Do you know what’s worth fighting for

Does it take your breath away

Did you try to live on your own
When you burned down the house and home?
Did you stand too close to the fire?
Like a liar looking for forgiveness from a stone

When it’s time to live and let die
And you can’t get another try
Something inside this heart has died
You’re in ruins

One, 21 guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, 21 guns
Throw up your arms into the sky

One, 21 guns
Lay down your arms
